Returns & Exchanges

You can return jewellery purchased on this website provided it is unworn and in its original condition. It may be returned for a refund or exchange for any reason within 30 days from the purchase date.

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

1. Email to let us know the nature of your return.

2. We’ll email you details on how to send your item.

3. Courier or post your item to us. We recommend using a courier service as we cannot accept responsibility if the parcel is lost in transit.

4. You’ll receive confirmation of us having received your item and whether we have any questions.

5. Once your job has been processed we’ll be in touch to confirm the details of its resolution.

DETAILS

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.

You will receive a full refund on returned items. But please note that we are unable to refund the delivery cost or any international taxes or duties on non-faulty returned items.

To complete your return, we require proof of purchase such as simply e-mailing us from the email address you used during checkout.

Your refund will be processed to your credit card or original method of payment.

If the item has obviously been damaged during shipping, then the item needs to be returned with 14 days. Email us a photo, then send back the item including the original packaging and packing slip.

We accept returns from purchases made on this website. We are unable to accept returns from retail or other online stores, please contact the store directly to discuss their returns policy.

For Laybuy returns our standard returns policy applies. Once the return has been processed by us we then refund the full amount to Laybuy and all future payments for that order will be cancelled. If you have already made one or more payments, the instalments paid will be refunded to the credit/debit card that you used to place the order. Once notified by us, Laybuy will process your refund immediately and send you an email to confirm that the refund has been processed. The bank may take 5-7 business days to the payment into your account.

EXCHANGES

You’re able to exchange an item within thirty days of its purchase date, provided the jewellery is unworn and in its original condition. It must also be in its original packaging.

You can exchange your item for another piece of jewellery or receive a credit note.

Please note that we are unable to refund the delivery cost or any international taxes or duties on non-faulty returned or exchanged items.

Exchanges are dependant on availability.

If you have been gifted an item and would like to exchange it, please be in touch. We can often arrange an exchange using the purchaser’s full name if you don’t have the receipt details.

REPAIRS

Every piece of Kiri Schumacher jewellery is lovingly handmade to a very high standard in our New Zealand studios.

We trust you’ll be completely satisfied with your purchase, but please do contact us if you notice an imperfection or flaw. If an item has broken due to our fault we’ll gladly repair it for you as soon as possible.

We’ll refund the cost of return shipping, and also cover all shipping costs for the repaired or replaced item.

If your jewellery is requiring repair due to general wear, please contact us to arrange a quote. We are able to fix most damaged pieces and can usually make individual earrings as required.

GOLD REPLATING

We offer a gold replating service on Kiri Schumacher jewellery items. To have your gold replated, please contact us to arrange a quote.

TIMEFRAMES

Once received by us, parcels are generally processed within the following timeframes:

Returns 3-5 days
Exchanges 3-5 days
Faults 2-10 days
Repairs 1-4 weeks

Please note for refunds the bank may take an additional 5-7 business days to process the payment into your account.
